Late April 2007 we spent 6 days in Budapest. A pleasant experience, as this city has  to have a lot offer. From the medieval Castle Hill in Buda, to the cosmopolitan boulevards of Pest. The city has lots of sights like the Matyas Church, the Fisherman Bastion, the St Stephan Cathedral, Heroes' Square and last but not least the Parliament building. A visit to Budapest is never complete without a relaxing visit to one or more of the thermal baths, some of which date back to the Turkish occupation. A special attraction is the Statue Park, just outside the city, where statues form the Communist Era have been brought together after 1990.
